HOW DID THEY MEET:

Barbara and Matthew’s first meeting was in 2011, during their time at Fleming College. Barbara was a freshman, while Matthew was in his final year at the college. It was in the hallway at Fleming College where they were introduced to each other by mutual friends.

The meeting was a coincidence, but it turned out to be a life-changing moment for both of them. They discovered that they had a lot in common and shared a passion for cooking, travelling, and music.

They met often, explored the campus, attended lectures, spent hours in the library, and joined clubs to develop their interpersonal skills and broaden their horizons.

After becoming friends, they developed romantic feelings for each other and began dating. They cherished their time together and provided unwavering support through good and bad times. Upon graduating from college, they embarked on an adventure of a lifetime, facing numerous obstacles along the way. Despite these challenges, their love for each other remained strong and unwavering..

ENGAGEMENT STORY:

Our engagement story would be that Matthew held onto to the ring for 3 weeks to find the perfect time to propose, also trying to hide this in our condo without Barb finding it. The perfect timing finally came when we were at the lake house on Stoney Lake decided to go down to the water and Matthew got on one knee and surprised by Barb by proposing.
